Multi Skills

What are multi-skills Activities?

The term ‘multi-skills is typically used to indicate a variety of movement, thinking and communicating skills that are the foundation of different sports or physical activities. Being able to move, communicate and think about what you’re doing while playing a certain sport is a crucial part of the children's Physical Literacy . We can say that a multi-skilled player is someone who can think about where to move, when to move, how to move or to communicate during an activity.

What multi-skills can be developed in our activities?

There is a wide range of skills that can be developed during our sessions. Actually, almost any sport-related activity will help children develop different multi-skills. Here are some of the skills your little learners can work on during lessons:

  • stability

How to help children develop multi-skills?

Just like we already mentioned, all the activities we include in our sessions will help children develop different movement skills. However, it is important that alongside the development of these movement skills, to include activities and games that will help children improve their communication and thinking skills too. We hope the children encourage parents to play some of our games at home!
